F.I.D.E.L is the avatar project of Paris-based composer/producer/A&R, R.DIlouya, UK Funk & Soul Legend, John Turrell (Smoove & Turrell) and Hip-Hop/Soul major force, Sly Johnson (Saïan Supa Crew). On “STAR 51”, Dilouya drops a Prophet-filled and LinnDrum driven infectious track reminiscent of Prince’s golden era and the 1980s Detroit’s Soulful Techno Scene on which Sly Johnson delivers a provocative performance letting his soul rip with a gut reaction to 21st century tech-infused populism.
