“I Don’t Wanna” is the third single from Joyo Velarde & Nick Andre’s EP, Fever Dream. Vocally arranged to represent an internal dialogue, Velarde sings about her acceptance and refusal of “hustle culture” at the expense of one’s sanity and wellbeing. Andre’s production incorporates monstrous sub-bass with minimal drums, spaced out keys and swirling analog synthesizers.
